Apply for subsidised gender-affirming care with Anne Health

At Anne Health, we believe that everyone deserves access to safe, compassionate, gender-affirming healthcare, regardless of their financial situation.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’re pleased to announce that we can now offer ten subsidised Anne Health memberships to those who need them most.

The funds made available to us through our Crowdfunder campaign mean we can fully fund five people for free membership, and partially subsidise another five by reducing their subscription cost to £50/month.

Due to limited resources, we're only able to accept 30 applications for this fund, and we will offer financial assistance to ten successful applicants.

This programme reflects our mission and belief that every trans person who needs gender-affirming healthcare can access it, regardless of their ability to pay.

Applications will go live on Thursday 10th July at 8:00GMT. Please return to this page for a link to the application form.

Who can apply?

Applicants must:

  • be trans, non-binary or gender diverse

  • live in the United Kingdom

  • be unable to afford private gender-affirming care, and demonstrate financial need

  • have parental consent if under 18

What do I need to apply?

Please have these ready before you start the form:

  • Evidence of financial need (e.g. a benefits statement and/or two months’ worth of bank statements from within the last 3 months)

  • Photo ID and proof of address (e.g. bank statement, credit card bill, utility bill within the last 3 months)

  • For parents/carers applying for someone under 18, a child benefit statement (within the last year)

If you are successful we will need to verify your ID. If your ID is in an old name, you will also need to provide proof of name change (e.g. a deed poll document).

Please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before applying.

We recognise that the need is greater than we can currently meet.

For those that are unsuccessful in their applications, know that we will continue to look for ways to provide more funds in future.

While we hope it’s clear this reflects our mission to improve access to gender-affirming healthcare, we also recognise that some people may feel disappointed or left out by this process.

We welcome feedback and will carefully consider all suggestions to help us improve how we offer subsidised care in the future.
